Trinity Milestones
1984
Five
families realize the need for an English speaking
baptist church in western Holland. They start gathering
for services in homes and rented hotels.
1985
Seventeen people take a step of faith and call a
full-time pastor to The Netherlands; Steve and Gwen
Smith become Trinity's first pastoral couple and the
church holds it's first retreat.
1988
Trinity purchases the church on the Bloemcamplaan in
Wassenaar.
1990
Trinity calls its second pastor, Gerald Robinson.
1992
Final
payment on the church building is made.
1993
Pastor John Johnson is called to be Trinity's third
pastor.
1994
Trinity starts its Growth Group program creating
"families" within the church body.
1999
Youth
Pastor Dan Axtell and wife Nicole join the staff at
Trinity
Pastor John Johnson leads the church in another step of
faith to purchase the Andreaskerk in Leidschendam.
2000
Trinity calls it's fifth pastor, Jim Jarman in
September.
2001
Under
Pastor Jarman's leadership, Trinity begins and completes
construction of its new Christian Education wing and
LightHouse Nursery facilities. James Speidel is called
as Youth Pastor.
2002
In
March, Trinity Church charters the very first MOPS group
in The Netherlands.
2003
Pastor Bill Laughlin is called as Senior Pastor of
Trinity.
2005
Trinity holds its first Ministry Fair and commits to 40
Days Of Purpose.
2006
The
Alpha Course is offered at Trinity and connects the
community with the church
2007
Trinity holds it first ever Israel
In Prophecy conference.
